Personally, i think Ancient Near Eastern History (Ancient Egypt, Persia, Mesopotamia, etc…) is more interesting to me than Greek&Roman history..

I’ve really enjoyed studying the ancient civilizations of Iraq, especially those of Assyria and Babylon. The long-lasting effects of these civilizations cannot be doubted… they have undoubtedly even affected the Western empires of Greece and Rome.
